Mail Box Express is an independent courier company. We had so much paper work that we employed three people on input and admin, and then we then made crude attempts to analyse the figures.
Astradyne have developed a database that enables us to use two persons who normally did the inputting to be moved onto making sales calls, and myself as Manager to manage and grow the business instead of it managing me.
Our customers now book jobs on line and they manage their own accounts. They can save their own time by logging into the online database if they have a query, and of course this saves time for us.
When sending a package, the system enables the customer to track their consignment and get the Proof of Delivery, such as signature and name of the receiver, either on the web, through email, or text message.
To say the work Astradyne have done has transformed the way we work and how much more profitable we are now is an understatement.
We can even produce up to the second reports on, for example, the CO2 usage of our bikes and vans to be sent to those customers that subscribe to carbon offsetting schemes.
We are now at the cutting edge of the industry and I can say with confidence ahead of the national courier companies in the technology based program we have.
