In the previous year, they sent out an Excel spreadsheet to each site, and when it was returned, they typed the responses into an Access database for analysis. This was a very time-consuming process and led to many transcription errors. The Access database was modified to:

Find the spreadsheets placed into a specified folder.

One by one, import the Excel data into a new record of the Access database.

At the click of a button, the process now takes the computer around 35 seconds to import all the data, but almost as importantly with 100% accuracy.
